Customer case: urgent delivery from Kuopio to Kittilä with an hour’s notice – package flown in by helicopter!

One Saturday afternoon, a Finnish company had to send an urgent package from Kuopio to Kittilä. The company contacted Private Skies at 2pm, asking whether a private plane could deliver the package. However, all the planes in the area were already booked, so Private Skies hurriedly ‘cast its net’ and managed, via its wide network of partners, to book a two-engined helicopter to carry the package.

The urgent package departed outside office hours, only two hours after the request for quotation – the helicopter took off from Kuopio at 4pm and arrived in Kittilä at 6pm – and was handed over to a satisfied customer just in time!
